MuggleNet
has a brief report from the set of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
Some excerpts:
We asked the guard if we could go in, but we weren't allowed. He said that the only actors there today were Crabbe and Goyle and the extras. We stood and watched for a minute as they finished their scenes, then all the extras, including Crabbe and Goyle, left for their lunch break.
There weren't a lot of people there today, as the actors weren't there, but the guard told us that Tom Felton would return to the studio next week. The crew is packing up now, and will leave by tonight.

Hey, does that really mean they finished all the outdoor filming? And now it's only studio work left?
And I earnestly thought about changing my holiday plans for September in favour of a nice little trip to UK...
Oh, rotten luck, as Ron would say.

Thats a good report even though there weren't much going on. Rupert sounds like such a good person. I wonder where they are headed next?

Kind of exciting I guess. Though...not really. I do like the actors who play Crabbe and Goyle. I think I fancy Crabbe or Goyle. The one who's head isn't circular. The tall one. Who is he? Isn't his name Jamie something...?

If they really finished the outdoor filming and start working in the studios it means that we are not going to see pics from the set any longer! Or is anybody in England able to visit the studios and make Photos? Seems to be impossible. I hope cast and crew hurry up a little bit so that we can see the movie earlier!

Hahaha, i don't think we will be able to see the movie any earlier. they have already set a date, and i don't think they want to change that date. then again, i don't work there or anything. =)
perhaps we'll still be able to see pictures of the filming...just not as much.

I'm sure that as the filming winds down, the studio will be releasing official publicity shots. Also, as the special effects wizards perform their magic, we will be seeing their work in trade journals and such, at least, I hope!

Yea, I agree about the "official publicity shots", but i also like seeing the candid shots...the ones that miscellaneous people take and post on the internet.

OK wow Tokixjam could you post anymore you might wanna try and keep all your quite brilliant thoughts into one post. Anyways they should be ending filmin shortly, partly because i read an article that said they were only going into mid-september and also if they are releasing in June which they are (im pretty sure) they need to get a move on for those of you who dont work in film it is a large process trying to edit a movie especially one with such special FX, i can't wait till we cans see it!

ok, tokixjam, I don't think I've ever seen anyone post as much as you :) I'm soooooo freakin' excited. I read another article on the mugglenet site while i was there and it said that Gary Oldman's tattoos were Cuaron's idea. I don't know if I like them yet, I guess I'll have to see them in action, then I'll probably loooove them.

I am looking forward to this film coming out.
Let me just reiterate that the tatoos on Sirius are a very bad idea. Did he run this by JK Rowling, I am sure she would not have liked it either.

I don't know...have they finished all the filming in the castle? I think they should be done filming a bit soon, because they need time to add in all the special effects and edit the cinematography and all.

I wish I could have visited the one of the sets, but I live in the US. Mom and Dad wouldn't have been too pleased if my friends and I planned a little roadtrip...overseas! That'd be cool if they could film once in Canada or something, but that's still a stretch 'cause I live in Texas:) Oh and I'm disappointed 'cause I'm leaving for Italy the Day POA comes out, but I can't pass up that trip! Ten days in Italy won't be as fun as I thought they'd be now....*tear*

That would have been cool to go and see that. I would really think that would be interesting to watch, actors and actresses making the movie in real life, not on the bigscreen.
