Omasco
has added a new product to their line of watches. The sole distributor of Disney watches in Oman (located next to Saudi Arabia), Omasco unveiled their latest: Harry Potter watches
.
Harry Potter watches are the new must-have accessories for any fan, and to suit every taste, watches come in a variety of styles. The durable plastic straps will appeal to casual people on the go, while fashionable watch wearers might choose the watches with the stylish leather straps, says Allwyn Lewis, sales manager of Omasco Watches Division.
More extroverted types will love the funky fur straps. Other interesting features include flip-top covers and a spooky glowing light. The watch face features Harry Potter or the Harry Potter logo.

Hmm... Sounds cool enough, but gotta say aint much for all those HP thing.
Okay, have a few things at home myself, but thats only because my dad's working for LEGO. And Lego is always testing there things, before they are send out in the stores. So we got the big Hogwarts lego thing before it even came out:)
Well anyway guess they gonna be popular, especially in Japan. But don't think i would get one myself;)

Sounds like a cool thing to have, but I don't think I would wear it. I could stick it with my collection of assorted Harry Potter things though.

I don't wear any watch, I'm sort of timeless...
I don't know about HP watches. I think they overdo the merchandizing. Lego is ok, you can do something with it. And posters, wallpapers, screen savers and books are ok. But watches? I don't know.
But at last some news came in. Nothing since friday. Really weird!!!

Omasco, the sole distributor of Disney watches, has just launched a new collection of Disney watches, featuring everyone’s favourite wizard as the new face to appear on the watches.
Does this give credence to a Disney/Harry Potter connection that may extend to theme park attraction rights? I wasn't aware of any marketing/merchandising arrangement prior to this. Interesting . . .

I agree with HarrysGran and others: a HP watch is a bit over the top for me. I guess if you want one, that is OK, but I personally wouldn't have one. Maybe I am just too old, I don't know.

That's cute! I think that if you can have Barbie watches, Mickey watches, and Barney watches (I had all 3 at one time), then Harry Potter watch is not going over the top.

Harry Potter butter? Seems to me that they forgot to add the beer... well, I'd like to have a look at these watches. Maybe they are quite nice. I must admit that I have a HP watch showing the four houses. Very nice to look at!

Depending on the styling and blatant "Potterness" of the watch - I might consider it. But to have a time piece that screams "Harry Potter!" would be a bit over the top. I agree with Chogirl that a time piece with HP would be more suited for the younger HPers!

Those sound interesting. I already own a HP watch that I received for Christmas two years ago, but I would love to get another one if it looked cool. I've almost worn out the strap of my current one! And I think a fantasy-themed store would be so cool to have around here - HP, LOTR, unicorns, dragons, fancy swords - ah, I would be in love forever!

Disney is selling Harry Potter watches? I thought they only had theme park rights, which I hope they don't use. They would make Harry look childish, very childish. I can just imagine the fifteen-year-old Harry's reaction if he saw what they were doing with him. An excellent fan-fiction idea...
