Vandals trash Harry Potter train Popular (1953)

In an act of destructionopens in new window the train used as the Hogwarts Expressopens in new window in the Harry Potter films has been spray painted by vandals.

Police are calling in experts to identify the painted "tag" -- the slang term for the vandals' painted logo and it has been estimated the damage will cost about £3,000 to repair.

PC Tony Martins, of the British Transport Police said:

"It must have cost the vandals a fortune in spray paint. They must have been at work for at least an hour."

Wow, I can't believe they'd do that. Especially after reading PC Tony Martins' comments about it taking lots of spray paint and at least an hour. Why'd they waste the time?
