It seems that David Thewlis
currently portraying Prof. Lupin in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban has recently put up a sign banning Muggles
from his house.
The British star has put up a sign in his garden which says "No Muggles Allowed" on the front and "Quidditch Played Here" on the back.

Sounds like he is pleased to be playing Lupin. He possibly has no idea how popular he is going to become. Although a well known actor, his name will be known now by every Harry Potter fan -- and we know how many of them there are.

I wonder if Professor Snape has told our new celebrity, that, "Fame clearly isn't everything."
Sorry, I couldn't resist the above, as I am currently rereading CoS.

He sounds like such an awesome guy and the real Lupin! He does remind me of Lupin...and is cute as, too! I'm glad he's playing Lupin (again, making Lupin good looking) but feel sorry for him, also-- once his name gets out there about him being Remus, he'll be mobbed! Poor dude =(

That's something Lupin would do, but he probably wouldn't put "No Muggles" as he is very anti-discriminative! That's a classic. He sounds like a very cool guy, perfect for the role. He doesn't look quite as I'd imagined though...

Ok, that is really adorable about the signs. :-P
He wasn't exactly what I imagined Lupin to look like at first, but I think he'll do a fair job or portraying him.

I don't blame him. But I don't get the "Quidditch played here". I don't know how the kids know him as Lupin yet because I haven't seen any pictures of him as lupin

I would like to put up a similar sign up my house... No Muggles allowed. Great. And on the backdoor: Only decent wizards welcome! (Wonder how many people will still be coming??? Hahaha)
Seems like David Thewlis is the right Lupin! Has the right sense of humour. Can't wait to see him next June!!!

Cute, cute... I wonder if he made them himself, or you can buy signs like that somewhere. I think the "No Muggles allowed" sign will have just the opposite effect, though- it will attract muggle attention!

I think the signs are very cute. I also think it is a nice way to let people know that although he is grateful for his fans, he needs his privacy too. It would get anoying to always have strangers comming to your door at all hours.
