The BBC has uploaded a transcript of yesterday's webchat with Chris Rankin, and he reveals his favorite film to date is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. What else did he have to say? Read it all here
:
Rachel_Ryzak: What has been your favourite Harry Potter film so far?
Chris: My favourite one so far has been Prisoner of Azkaban. I like the darker, more sinister elements in the film as well as the new style of costumes.
Kim_London: How does Alfonso Cuarón differ from Chris Columbus?
Chris: They're both really friendly guys and easy to get on with. Alfonso's background is in more grown-up films and I think that helps.
BBC's Martin Barber also caught up with Rankin while he was in the studio to catch up on all the latest news
from the set of PoA. Chris is participating in HP Fan Trip's premiere tour to Britain
next year.

As I didn't manage to catch the interview and ask questions myself, I greatly appreciate BBC for letting all HP fans see it in transcript form. If Chris thinks PoA is going to be the best, so will I (he is the best guy in Potter after all), but true judgment will be reserved for the trailer and the movie itself. His comments are getting me even more anxious....JUNE 4TH IS TOO FAR AWAY!

Yeah, that sounds really good, especially the Dementor-Part.
Chris seems to be a nice guy and doesn't really sound like the Percy from OotP. I'm really interested how he is going to perform him (if WB decides to take him again as he is 21(?) or so?) but as he can imagine to be in Slytherin (shame-no offense dear Slytherins around!) he might perform well!

This was so fun to read but it left me wanting more! Does anyone know what smocking is? I tried to look it up but it said something about sewing (making smocks). Is this a British term?

Yeah, its my b-day today! Anyways, I'm glad the dementor part is actually scary and not corny. Chris seems like any normal person,he's nice. Overall the chat was interesting. Most questions you would expect people to ask, nothing different.

Chris certainly has ambitions and a very good publicity agent. He is popping up in lots of places. Good for him. He is a bit older that the others and more career oriented now. It seems like he is doing very well for himself.

That was very interesting and enlightening. It's great to get updates on the actors and actresses every once in a while. The things he said only make June seem that much farther away. The movie's going to be great.

Nice Q&A session. I wish I had been in on it, so as to ask Chris, how he came up with the name of his theater group.

Hey, Chris seems to be a very nice guy. This fan-week-trip with him will be great fun, I'm sure.
A pity he didn't reveal more secret stuff of PoA - but of course no one is supposed to. But that doesn't matter, it's only over a half year until we see PoA. ;-)
