Timothy Spall to appear in 'Lemony Snicket' Popular (2125)

The movie version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Eventsopens in new window is set to begin filming next Monday, and joining the castopens in new window will be none other than Peter Pettigrew himself, Timothy Spallopens in new window.

Timothy Spall has joined Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep and Jude Law in Paramount/DreamWorks' Lemony Snicket: A Series of Unfortunate Events.

Spall will portray Mr. Poe, the ineffectual guardian of the three Baudelaire orphans who are the central characters of the film.

Filming on "Snicket," directed by Brad Silberling, is due to start Monday in Los Angeles for a holiday 2004 release.
