It was SO much fun! The kids were so great - they were from all over the world. I had to present an award to a kid from India, there were kids from America, Thailand, Australia and others from India too...
There were loads of celebrities there, Zoe Wannamaker, Pam Ferris, Paul Daniels, Esther Ranzen, Danny John-Jules, Dave Benson-Phillips, Rory Bremner, Bob Holness, Gary Wilmott, Anthea Turner.. loads and loads of fabulous people!
It was great that we were all there for the same reason - there wasn't any press or whatever - it was purely for the fact that we were there to support the environment and to let the kids have a fantastic day - and it was definately that!
My birthday was lovely too - met up with Penny the day before in london and we went to see a show, which was hilarious - it was a play called Noises Off - which if you know it, you'll understand why i loved it. If you don't know it -go and see it - you'll love it!!
Then had a party on saturday night, nothing too big but lots of fun - we had fireworks - almost blew up the house *Grin*!!!

Hah, Noises off is so hilarious. I've seen both the movie and the play (it was a school production), and they're both hilarious, although I preferred the play. :D

It's kind of funny that Chris has a friend named "Penny," considering that Percy's girlfriend in the books is named Penelope, or "Penny."

Chris Rankin seems really cool and down-to-earth, there's always reports about him doing nice stuff like this.
I've seen Noises Off, last year. I found it really funny and agree with what someone said on the last page - it gets exhausting just watching! It's really good. I don't think it's that much of an "adults" play though, after all, we took my little brother who was 12 to see it with us.
