Our friends at HP4U.co.uk
are auctioning a full, deluxe collector's set of the Harry Potter books
, all first editions. Some of the novels, including Prisoner of Azkaban, are signed by the movie version's stars, a result of HP4U's visit to the wrap party they reported on in November.
These books are the original UK deluxe versions which are first edition, first prints and are in perfect collector's condition.
Some of the autographs written in elegant gold ink:

And how much will this cost? Like Melquiades, I am very tempted, but am not, however, made of money. Whomever wins the auction will have a priceless treasure - I hope they realise it!

Wow! I want one. Unfortunately, I too fail to have an abundance of money. I'm wondering to what cause the auction will benefit. Is the money going to fund HP4U's site or to an other worthy cause?

Many of us won't be able to afford such a magnificent present that would tempt any Potterholic. It would be cool to have my favorite book signed by Emma Watson or another cast member, but my pocketbook this Christmas could barely suffice. It is very tempting indeed...

The collection looks really nice. My guess is that is will go for a small fortune. I guess the ultimate value will be determined by what happens to the series in the final book.

I suspect it would be the rare person on this list who could afford these books. Something to dream about, but out of reach for anyone but the wealthy. I suspect they will end up selling for multi-thousands pounds.

I also wouldn't mind something special like that, but I am too realistic. I have bills to pay, so I will just have to be happy with my current Harry potter books. Hehehe.
However, this is a lovely idea. But honestly, I'd rather have a movie poster signed (or a SCRIPT) by the actors, and the author's signature on the books. I mean, they are separate, even though the movies are based on the books. In all honestly, I prefer the books to the movies, no matter how AWESOME those movies are. Just because I can curl up with them over and over..... ;)
