had the unique opportunity to interview the star of the Harry Potter movies, Daniel Radcliffe while on a recent visit to the U.K. She visited Leavesden Studios, where much of the movies are filmed, including Hogsmeade and the Great Hall. Check out this picture of Jenna with Daniel.
Here is an except from her report:
Some questions that Jenna asked of Daniel:
Dan: Gary is a really cool guy, and really fun. He is really focused and it is very interesting to watch him prepare for a scene.
Jenna: What scenes should we look for in POA, and which scene are you the most proud of?
Dan: Definitely look out for the scenes with the hippogriff, and the Quidditch scenes in the rain, but my favourite scene, without actually having seen the film yet, would be the Shrieking Shack scenes at the end of the movie I think.

Well I'm not surprised by the comments on Gary Oldman...he's an incredible actor. But what's this about the Shrieking Shack scenes at the *end* of the movie? I hope he doesn't really mean the end...how much of the book ending will they be cutting out? Hopefully I'm just overreacting.

Awwww......that was so sweet of Dan not to laugh at Jenna's blonde moment ( the whole ace of hearts and ace of spades thing). Seems like Jenna did enjoy her visit at London, lucky girl. Nice to know too that Dan's dad is equally charming and extremely nice.

Now that was fun to read! Its interesting to find out a bit about what the actors are like in real life and also about how the director and actors work on a movie. Dan is definitely one of my favorites at the moment.
And there is going to be Quidditch in PoA after all? I hope so. And the hippogriff and the shreiking shack scene at the end ... I can't wait to see the movie.
The card trick - I liked that - Jenna you're a good writer. And there's nothing wrong with being blonde.

What a great interview although it would have been better if there were a lot of questions asked. I am looking forward to seeing the quidditch match. I hope that the special effects wouldn't be as terrible as in the first two movies. *Looking at the picture, I kind of came to the conclusion that Daniel Radcliffe does not have a great sense of style:)*

Lucky Jenna! Thanks for sharing with us. Did anyone notice, Dan is already thinking about how Harry will be so angry in the 5th movie, so it doesn't sound to me like he is thinking about quitting on his own accord,since he is "looking forward to portraying him that way." YAY!
