I can't believe they are going to have to wait a whole more year to see it on TV. It is bad enough waiting for POA to come to the theater.

Wow! Not until 2005?!? That's a long time! Come to think of it, didn't PS just air here (Canada) a weekend or two ago for the first time? It's times like these I wish I could read German, 'cause I'd like to know what that article says ;)

That's pretty exciting, I'm sure a lot of people already have it on video or DVD so its just a nice little treat to see it on TV. Its funny to watch the first movie sometimes, because everyone is so young and they arent very experienced, but now they're all grown up and they have the hang of things. I cant wait to see how the third movie turns out!

Wait, does that mean that unless people saw the move in theaters or bought it, they haven't seen it on TV yet? That's bizarre. I mean, the movie came out in 2002. Why is it taking 3 years to be put on TV in Germany. It was on TV in the USA not even 10 months after it was released...

Wow, that's a long wait. It's kind of strange--the US got to see it hardly after it was released on DVD, and they STILL have to wait another year!

I imagine we are talking about public broadcast television. The movie has been out for some time on DVD and on premium cable/satellite channels. So my guess is that someone could get it if they wanted it. It would just cost something.

I live in Asutria and I read that RTL bought a huge movie-package for about 200 Million Dollars from Warner Bros. It contains "The Lord Of The Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring", "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" and many other movies, but Warner Bros. said to RTL, that they have to wait until 2005...

I really don't have an opinion on this. We have had the HP movies on TV for sometime now (pay per view, of course) in the States. And I own my own copie of both movies. I wonder what has taken Germany so long to get them on the air. Perhaps it's the subtitles or dubbing.
