The soundtrack to Chamber of Secrets was introduced in much the same way in November 2002, since Warner Bros. (the makers of the Harry Potter movies) and AOL are owned by the same company, Time Warner.
Clarification: You do not need to be an AOL subscriber to listen. So enjoy!

They already have it where you can listen to the cd? AMAZING! I've tried two times now and it won't work on my computer. Oh well, I'll just have to wait untill the actually CD is coming out. I'm kind of angry because I missed that special on last night! I think I'll go ahead and download it right now.

It sounds very nice! A much grander scale than the first two. John Williams is an excellent composer and i'm glad he's doing the music for these movies.

I'm using a dial-up, which is not AOL, and it plays just fine. Plus, it didn't take long to load. And I usually have all sorts of difficulty doing this kind of stuff.
This soundtrack is a radical departure from the first two. It is so much mmore intense. It also has a quicker pace. I guess it was written to fit the changes in the film introduced by Alfonso.
You can be sure that I'll be getting it as soon as it is released. That's one of the reasons I just got a new CD player for my broom....I mean car.

Melyora, you don't have to be a AOL subscriber. I don't know how much I will listen to. Usually I like to keep the music a secret or surprise. I will listen to some of it though.

Listening to it just now. The music is more compelling overall thus far. I already like it better than CoS soundtrack -- it seems to much more variety. The CoS soundtrack was just like the SS soundtrack. All that seemed significantly different from one to the other was the addition of Lockhart's theme for CoS.

Oops! Meant to write "it seems to have much more variety" in my last post.
I don't have AOL. I just clicked on the link and it started in its own media player window without any download. Good luck!
