Let the rumors continue. In yet another article that will surely have fans talking, the Daily Mail from the UK is reporting
that Ralph Fiennes is in talks to play Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is currently filming.
This of course follows previous reports that Rowan Atkinson and John Malkovich had also been in negotiations for the role, both of which have been denied by the powers that be.
Please note that this is a rumor and I'm sure won't be the last, and as with all rumors has to be confirmed by Warner Bros. We will update if we hear anything.

I don't know if he is what I would picture Voldemort looking like. I think there are a lot better choices. I think Christopher Walken, John Malkovich or Christopher Lee would be better. They have been all listed on this thread. I don't know about Rowan Atkinson though, but he may be good.

He is a great actor. I think his best performance is in Schindler's List. It would be nice if he would play Voldemort (even if he's too young--maybe not) but I do hope that the stupid kids will not throw tomatoes at him on the streets.

I think the problem with John Malkovich as Voldemort would be that he's TOO OLD. I never imagined Voldemort to be old.
Think about it, it makes sense. Voldemort is returning to human form. Do you think he's going to select the form of some old guy? No. He's going to want to project an image of strength and new power, and this comes quite conveniently in the form of youthfulness.
Having a younger actor like Ralph Fiennes would be perfect.
