Many new Web sites have sprung up dedicated to Katie Leung since it was announced that she had been cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but Warner Bros. is now insisting
that the Katie Leung blogs that have recently appeared on the internet were not written by her.
Fake blog entries supposedly written
by Katie have surfaced which means that fans can be easily duped into believing that they are communicating with the star. A few months ago a fan thought they were communicating with Daniel & agreed to meet him in England after traveling from Chile, of course this was an imposter, as Daniel never communicates
with his fans this way. So please be careful, if you think you talking to someone from the movies - you're not & please don't give out personal information to anyone you don't know.

The person that pretended to be Katie, i think is just sick. It's wrong to mess with people like that! I feel bad for the poor person from chile that actually went to England cause she thought she was talking to the real Dan. But then again, use your commen sense people! Dan wouldn't have the time to talk to just one random fan!

that's pretty messed up. that people would actually try and pretend to be somebody else to lure innocent fans to them. it's pretty sick what this world has come to. but not only that, it also slanders both Dan and Katie's names by making it seem that they were the ones posting it...

It's a sure sign of the times we are living in when imposters continue to use the internet to sway young kids into believing they are someone to be trusted! I hope no one does something stupid because of these fakes.

That sucks. I hate it when people pretend to be someone they're not. You get people excited and then they find out that you're not who you say you are and it bums them out. I wish people would stop doing that just for fun because it can turn into a big thing. That's why you don't believe everything you read.

I just don't understand how people can get so much pleasure out of disappointing fans like that. Older fans will probably be able to tell the difference but can you imagine the look on a little girl's face when she finds out the truth? The people responsible should be thrown in jail for fraud or something.

Well, i have to say, those people who get tricked in to believing they are talking to a star are pretty gullable, since when do most stars arange to meet strange fans and tell them to come over from another country?
It horrible that people would actualy be so deceptive, and anyone found to be writing these false blogs should be stoped and punished.
