Many new Web sites have sprung up dedicated to Katie Leung since it was announced that she had been cast as Cho Chang in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire but Warner Bros. is now insisting
that the Katie Leung blogs that have recently appeared on the internet were not written by her.
Fake blog entries supposedly written by Katie have surfaced which means that fans can be easily duped into believing that they are communicating with the star. A few months ago a fan thought they were communicating with Daniel & agreed to meet him in England after traveling from Chile, of course this was an imposter, as Daniel never communicates with his fans this way. So please be careful, if you think you talking to someone from the movies - you're not & please don't give out personal information to anyone you don't know.

That is so awful when people pretend to be a famous actor. It's mean to the peopoe who have believed it and it is mean to the actor too. They could get a bad reputaion for something they didn't say or do.

I think it's really sick and pathetic that some people are so insecure they have to pretend to be celebrities and make people believe they are them so that they can lure them to meet them. it's just a good thing that in teh "daniel" incident the kid wasn't hurt. it's really scary how easily people can be tricked into these types of things, you see it all over the news now days. thankfully this was unconvered and nothing really bad came of it except that poor katie now knows there was someone out there impersonating her...
