The Sun newspaper in Britain has printed some new pictures
from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire Quidditch World Cup depicting the aftermath of the deatheaters' attack. The pictures show ruined tents under a purple, orange sky and the burning of an opponents flagpole.
Bonus: Harry Loves Hermione has posted
hi-res images of the campground (before destruction).

The pictures look pretty cool...but I figured there'd be more action in the pics. Just a few scene shots. Oh well, at least we know they are working on the movie.

It looks alright. I was kinda scared that they'd mess this one up!! But it seems to be coming along alright. It's good to finally see some better pictures than just the hills they shot footage on :-)

Isn't this sad? -- when I first saw the cool purple and orange sky picture I was like "oh, nice looking CGI!" That's a real sky though, isn't it? Isn't it?! I need to get out more.

Hm, kinda disappointing: the pics are too small ...and besides, why would I want to see some crew member setting that flag on fire?!?!?! - I want to see things burning as they will be seen in the movie: by magic!!
So I'm waiting... :P

Hehe, ever since I joined hpana, I get dibs on the greatest stuff. And the movie isn't due out until another year! But anyway, that sky is postively beautiful- for some reason I love the sky, especially during the sunrise or sunset.

I'm sure that this is going to have to be quite tragic for us to get the sense of desperation and fear of the general wizarding public in response to the Death Eaters' antics and the appearance of the Dark Mark.
