Daniel Radcliffe fan sites www.danradcliffe.co.uk
& DanRadcliffe.com
have announced the details for their annual Christmas fundraiser for Demelza House, a charity that Daniel has requested fans contribute to in lieu of sending him presents.
It would seem that this year both sites are doing something different from years past, this year fans that contribute to this great charity will have the opportunity to send Christmas thoughts & wishes to Daniel along with their donations.
This year’s fundraiser is called ‘Candle for Care’:
This year we are doing things a little differently. All fans that donate to this very worthy cause will have the opportunity to send Christmas thoughts and wishes to Dan along with their donations. All of the thoughts and wishes will be collected by both sites and then combined and printed in a professionally bound book for Dan this Christmas season, courtesy of Demelza House! All those who want to get in their submissions to this fabulous book to be sent to Daniel need to forward their Worldpay e-mail and wish to us no later than 17 December 2004. You can also send in your wish by post, or you can even send general wishes, please see the Demelza House Christmas Charity Page
for more details on that specifically.

I wonder why Dan chose this particular charity to sponsor? I think it's fabulous and very honorable of him to make such a initiative.

I'm sure all those Dan fans will jump at this chance. It's just so hard I would think for these 12 year old girls to send money to a charity across the globe!

Thats neat, i wonder how they thought of it, because i would never have thought about that, excellent idea.... Making a bunch of letters into a book, easier to read, and easier to organize, and easier to reply most likely.... if he wants to....

That's a good idea. I was wondering when one of the fan sites would do something like this for Daniel for Christmas. Since Daniel asked fans to stop sending him gifts because he is out of space to put them.

Just another example of Dan's kind-hearted nature! Let's not forget to applaud Dan's fan sites, DanRadcliffe.com and danradcliffe.co.uk, for organizing the fans' participation in these fund raisers! It's especially nice to see so many young people thinking altruistically because of Dan. Now that's cool.

That is such a nice thought by Daniel. Good on him. There would be a lot of money raised if all of his fans would do that.

It so touches my heart that Daniel Radcliffe is a supporter of the Demelza House. Any work that goes forward in alleviating the pain of children is a positive. He's certainly raising funds and good Karma.

That is so nice of him! If only all of the celebrities would do that, the world would be a better place! If I wasn't just a teenager trying to buy my own Christmas presents, I'd do it. :) Is anyone here doing it? (well, obviously, there will be)
