The current issue of Premiere magazine has published the first picture we’ve seen of Miranda Richardson
in costume as Rita Skeeter
from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire which is currently filming.
According to the article
courtesy of MuggleNet:
Another year at Hogwarts, another director charge. As the first Englishman to direct a Potter flick, Mike Newell brings his own school days to bear as Harry faces not only his own fire-breathing dragons in the Triwizard Tournament but also his greatest challenge yet - the resurrection of Voldemort.
"This story is about the return of the being of evil," says Newell. "Harry is the vital ingredient for the potion which will bring Voldemort back." Like He-Who-Must Not-Be-Named, Daily Prophet hack Rita Skeeter makes her first appearance in this fourth installment of the series.
"She's completely brash and completely hateful," says Richardson, who likens Skeeter to 1930s gossip queen Hedda Hopper. "She's written the deal before she even gets there, really."

The World Is My Own says:
Not how i imagined her at all!
This is how i imagined her:
More a dark red head, which was pulled tightly into a bun, with curls down the back, making her look very flamboyent. Also, her face, well, not as glamourous looking - maybe a bit tired, a bit scruffy, owing to her job and her nature.
She looks too prim and proper. Plus way too reserved!

Actually, thats not bad, she really does fit the spot.
Now...all we need are Mad-Eye, and Voldemort, then Cedric, and Fleur and Vickor, those should be the new characters right?

Not a bad Rita Skeeter, but I pictured looking a bit more harsh and more masculine. Miranda Richardson is a fabulous actress though, so I'm sure she'll really bring the character to life.

She looks good. I never pictured Rita Skeeter as a blond, for some reason I pictured her with brown hair with fake looking red highlights. Oh well maybe they let me direct one, there's plenty of movies left.
