In an interview with British newspaper The Express, Julie Walters
(Mrs. Weasley) from the Harry Potter movies confirms that she will not be making an appearance in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Ms. Walters discusses her feelings about not being in the movie:
To be honest, I was a bit hurt not to be in it. The kids love the Harry Potter films so much and I get lots of mail about it. I can understand why they've had to pare down the film as the book is so long but I am really hoping I'll be in again for the next one.

That's really too bad. Mrs. Weasley is a great character; it's a shame to lose her from this movie. She really needs to be OotP, though! It would be criminal for them to omit her character in that one!!!

Well this sucks. too bad. we'll see her in the next film (i hope). First the dursley's then Julie walters? i hope they make this an outstanding movie. they really have to make up for what they screwed up so far.

Thats sad. I feel sorry for her. And who is gonna be there to greet Harry at the neginning of the third task? I wish they would cut the book down so much. It will probably be the movie so far though and thats cool.

Unbelieeeeeeeeevable! I can't believe they would ever cut Mrs Weasly from ANY of the movies! That would be like cutting Nevile (which it feels like they tend to do,too!) Who do they have writing these scripts?? Do they read the books? Do they understand what they are doing to us??? Do they care??

Aw that sucks! Does that mean that no one is going to go watch the last task for Harry? Because i liked the fact that in the book they were right there for him when he got back from the graveyard...that stinks...oh well hopefully for OotP she will be back!

Well are they gonna leave out when the weasley's go to see harry in the last task? she was in that part. it just doesn't seem right not to have her in it. what about mr weasley? have they cut him out as well? that stinks. pretty soon they are going to cut out all the weasley's. haven't they cut out the part with the dursleys?
