Cool! Much better than the smaller versions! Thanks hpana! Nice to find out which version is used in Belgium also. They only sell the books in the children's edition. Too bad though because I would have love another copy in the adult edition (they look classy).

The fire around them did look like it was coming from Dumbledore's wand-- which is a good sign (I think) because it's showing he still cares a lot about Harry (or maybe just mankind since the destruction of Harry means the triumph of evil/Voldemort) and that they are working together (maybe).... or maybe I'm just over analyzing it all.

Whoa! I just saw the covers and the UK one looks pretty intense. Is Dumbledore going to be consumed by flame? I personally like the US one the best.....

Oh, those fantastic art by GrandPre...
I love the scholastic edition. What is it that they're both looking at intently?
I'm also crazy about the adults version. That old book of potion...
But I like children version more than the others. I don't know what's wrong with me. I'm an adult, but I like the kid edition.
One thing for sure, I can hardly wait till the released day.

This is so exciting! I can already tell, from the expressions on Harry and Dumbledore's face, that this book is going to rock! Action, adventure, a little bit of romance! More Snape and Voldie! I may swoon.

Wow those are great. I can't decide which cover I like best. The pensive scene gives us a clue of it's need and perhaps more time travel and back story. The other is like seeing Yoda kick butt for the first time go DD.

*siriusblack* : The different covers are for differnet countries. GrandPre illistrates the American versions and that other guy (sorry I can't remember his name!) draws the british pictures and Jean-Claude Gotting is the French one. In other words, there is a different illisrtator, and therefore, cover, for each country. It's really cool to se all the different covers. I really like the German versions.
Anyway, can't wait to see the inside of that beautiful cover.

So so so awesome. I just ranted in the other article similar to this one, so I'll kinda keep my mouth a little more closed on this one:)
The fact that DD is on 2 of the 3 covers makes me worry slightly-- putting so much emphasis on him, could this mean that something is going to conceivably happen to him? All those rumors of his demise, could they be true? He looks like he's going somewhere quite- er, hellish with Harry, from my discerning eye, at least in that kid's UK version.
Can't wait till July 16!!

I like the UK Adult versions of all the books the most so far, but since i'm in the US, guess I'll have to get the greeny. But I like it a lot, too, so it's no big swig. Just have to get the other from eBay!

I like the american version. It is a fantasy story and I think the drawings the american illustrator does are quite fantasy like and magical. The adult UK version is just a picture. A drawing takes alot more imagination.
