We previously
told you that German publishers Carlsen Verlag were asking for the public to vote on the cover of Half-Blood Prince, which is being released on October 1st.
With all the votes in, the German cover for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been chosen
. Book cover number 2 won the voting process with 74.6 percent of the votes.

I voted for that one. The other one was way too telling, and that one looks alot better. I'm so glad they didn't pick the other one which may have given a huge clue to the ending to readers who want the surprise.

I did not see the other covers that you could vote for. After seeing the one that was chosen I do like it. The boat picture adds a mysterious touch to the book.

I'm glad they chose that one. I thought the other gave too much away about the ending. The "Chosen One" (forgive the pun) shows about as much as the American version does, and I really like the American version, it's my favorite.
