Last month we reported
that Warner Bros. had promised to fix an error that appeared in a released photo from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
The photo in question showed Harry standing in front of the Riddle’s headstone at the end of the film but with a glaring error in the name and date of the deceased.
Moviefone
has published a new picture of the same scene with the correction made.

Good thing they fixed it. Some die hard Harry Potter fans (like ourselves) would have been very upset if they didn't.

Its good to see that the Warner BRos actually took note of the issue and changed it. It would have been easy for them to say "oh we' its done now" and just left it. Well done Warner Bros for listening.

I really dont get how Warner Bros. could have made a mistake like that.I know it's some minor detail, but it seems like they didn't even check to know if they were right or to verify the information they have. Well at least they fixed their mistake (after we nagged them about it :P)
Only 51 more days till the movie!!! I cant wait!!!

I'm so happy they changed it! I was so mad when they left out Winky, Dobby, and SPEW from the film. Now I'm not as mad since they fixed it. I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE FILM!

The new picture looks a little blurry, and you can't see the dates. In addition, the revised version doesn't have "Marvolo" in the "Tom Riddle" section. Nevertheless, I'm glad they found an error and set to correct it. I can't wait until the fourth installation of the movie comes out in November.

These type of errors show how little the movie producers really care about the books in general. However, thier correcting of this, does show, (a little) that they are at least, listening to those who care.

I'm glad they fixed that. It just teaches you that you need to make sure that you have it right the first time. Just like the quote says, "Why is there always time to do it right the second time, when there isn't enought time to do it right the first?" RESEARCH! But I'm glad they fixed that, I would've died!

I am so glad that someone notified Warner Brothers of their mistake before the movie was released. They need to be as true to JKR's work as possible. They need to make sure that they are staying true to all of the millions of Harry Potter fans all over the world. Good going Warner Brothers!
