Tabloids love exploiting (and paraphrasing and exaggerating) quotes about celebrities to hype up stories and increase readership. Doing so about Harry Potter isn't new, and the Daily Record hit a home run yesterday by claiming
star Daniel Radcliffe is "dreading his naked screen debut" in November's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Jenna from DanRadcliffe.com, from whose interview
the Daily Record lifted quotes and based their story, tells it straight:
Just to clarify this mess they've created - At no time was Dan naked or did he say he was for the Prefect's Bath scene. They took a quote from my article and turned it into something it's not.
Not only did they lift quotes from my interview without permission, they did so without giving credit as if it were their own interview... and then took it and twisted it. Yet another reason why none of you should ever put any trust into anything you read in one of these tabloid rubbish liners.
Well said, Jenna.

Stupid tabloids, leaching onto anything they can twist around and make it sound interesting.. but really, would anyone belive that they would do that to Dan? And plus, if you've read the interview from a day or two ago, there's and entire paragraph of Dan explaining he was wearing a flesh colored swimsuit. I wonder if the taboid publishers got in trouble for using the quotes with out permission and stuff.. they should!

It is so important to be selective in what we believe in the papers/magazines. They do have to attract readers = sales ans some are too much like Rita Skeeter.

Well we get to pretend that he is naked... and that's good enough for me! It's so hard to believe everything you read and especially the rubbish in the tabloids... JK Rowling tells us that in her books!! Don't believe everything you read in the Daily Prophet!

It doesn't matter whether he is naked or not. I just want to watch the movie as soon as I can and get over the need to watch it.

Well that was kinda obvious! In most movies the actor isn't naked, so I wouldn't see why this is any different! I can't wait for the movie, it's good enough for me if he has his shirt off!! :-D

That is seriously wrong! Just so people would read their tabloid they exaggerate? And how embarrasing would that be for Dan? That's why we should never believe stuff about people unless we know it comes directly from them like, Jenna's interview.

Ugh. Why can't these silly "newspapers" just leave us alone? It seems ridiculous to say there's a nude scene in a children's movie! What are they trying to do, sabotage it?
