Tabloids love exploiting (and paraphrasing and exaggerating) quotes about celebrities to hype up stories and increase readership. Doing so about Harry Potter isn't new, and the Daily Record hit a home run yesterday by claiming
star Daniel Radcliffe is "dreading his naked screen debut" in November's Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Jenna from DanRadcliffe.com, from whose interview the Daily Record lifted quotes and based their story, tells it straight:
Just to clarify this mess they've created - At no time was Dan naked or did he say he was for the Prefect's Bath scene. They took a quote from my article and turned it into something it's not.
Not only did they lift quotes from my interview without permission, they did so without giving credit as if it were their own interview... and then took it and twisted it. Yet another reason why none of you should ever put any trust into anything you read in one of these tabloid rubbish liners.

In any case, who cares if he was naked or not? All that matters is that it's a good movie! HONESTLY....

And I even if it were true, I don't think movie-goers would be sitting there whispering, "OH MY GOSH dan radcliffe was actually naked in this scene! *gasp*"

Now if those snooty so-called "reporters" did their homework, they would have come across the part of the interview where Dan said he wore flesh colored trunks. He even said they were designer!!! I thoughly enjoyed Jenna's interview, light, bouncy and gave lots of info. Of Course Dad was not naked...I think that J.K. added all the bubbles to the bath just so no one would see anything.
The scene is not about checking Dan out, it is about the message from the Golden Egg.
