Julie Walters
, Mrs. Weasley, in the first three Harry Potter movies has indicated that she will be returning to film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
When asked about appearing in Order of the Phoenix Ms. Walters replied:
She also discussed her recent collaboration with fellow Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint in Driving Lessons, in which Julie plays Rupert's driving instructor.
Ms. Walters can also be seen on ITV1 this Wednesday, December 14th at the British Comedy Awards as she and a colleague will be honored for Outstanding Contribution to Comedy.

That's exciting, especially considering how "hurt" she was by not being included in Goblet of Fire. I personally love Mrs. Weasley and believe she is incredibly indispensible, particularly in Order of the Pheonix.

I'm so relieved that Julie will be returning for OOTP!!! In my opinion, she was indispensable in the GOF novel--cutting out "Molly" and "Harry" in the hospital after "Harry" gets back from the graveyard was a major oversight. That is such an emotional scene in the novel, and the movie suffers because they chose to focus all on action, rather than emotion. I always get so choked up at the part in the book where "Molly" hugs "Harry" (like a mother, I believe it says). I certainly never got choked up during the film--not even when "Cedric" died. Perhaps David Yates won't make the same mistake Mike Newell did...

SnapesSorceress: I know what you mean. I was looking forward to seeing that scene myself as that was the tearjerker for me in the 4th book.
I am very happy to hear she and her character will be returning. She's not only one of my favorite actresses, but one of the scenes I hope to see in the movie is the boggart scene at headquarters, having her fears revealed.
