As mentioned previously, BBC Radio 4's Living with Harry Potter aired today, featuring a discussion between U.K. audio book narrator Stephen Fry and author J.K. Rowling. For those unable to hear the segment, an encore presentation will be aired on Christmas Eve, or you can download an audio file or view a transcript both of which are now available online.

The interview was smashing... I am so hyped now about book 7. I just can't wait! I completely agreed with Fry at the end after the interview where he talks about wanting to know but not wanting it to end! I feel the same way. Everyone should listen to it, it is a nice look into Jo's mind.

Stephen Fry is the Master at narrating the Harry Potter books, he really is!
I'm sure that American guy Jim Dale also does a good job, but for me, I couldn't imagine anyone else reading them aloud. Fry just has a natural gift of articulating the words, phrases and sentances so you can immerse yourself in the story, and all the character's voices are thoroughly beliveable!
Its a whole new experience listening to the story on audio cd, even though I've already read the book!
