got an early look at the deleted scenes that are to be included in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD, expected in the first quarter of this year. Eight new scenes are described to be featured:
The DVD was previously reported to be released early March, but we'll keep you posted on the actual release date. Thanks to Pablo for the tip.

I thought there were more deleted scencs...like when Hermione was holding Harry and Ron's hands (i saw it on the HBO behind the scenes thing), and the part where ron says, "i love it when they do that" right before they announced the three champions...oo well, i hope that they will be included...but the official 8 deleted scences seem great anyway!!

WOw. I often wonder at the bits that are in the films but not in the books. Hermione remembering the polyjuice ingredients would have come in handy had they done anything about it. When I read that I remembered what they were for, but I assumed he was just noticing them being gone from year 2!

I like it when they add deleted scenes to DVD's. I'd love it though if they had a way for you to view the deleted scenes as part of the movie if you wanted to. Like a director's cut!
