got an early look at the deleted scenes that are to be included in the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD, expected in the first quarter of this year. Eight new scenes are described to be featured:
The DVD was previously reported to be released early March, but we'll keep you posted on the actual release date. Thanks to Pablo for the tip.

Cool! I was hoping for deleted scenes since the movie was so fast paced and I wanted to see more. I can't wait to get the DVD. Too bad there couldn't be more deleted or extended scenes. I would have loved to see an extended version of the World Cup scene.

It seems to me, and I'm sure I'm not alone in this, that they should have left in scenes 3, 5 - 8. Of course, I'd prefer they left them all in.

The DVD might be coming out in March! I so did not know that, I've been living under a rock for the past few days since I didn't hear that. The deleted scenes sound interesting, I just hope they have better ones considering they deleted a whole bunch of stuff.

These should be interesting to see. Always worth the DVD for these reasons alone. I wonder, if they will ever release expanded cuts that include these in the scenes. Maybe at the end of the film series for a collectors edition.

I was hoping there would be other scenes that were more prominent and sthe one where Hermione realizes that the ingredients are for polyjuice potion is a bad move to have at all considering they dropped so many hints to what's going on with Moody = crouch Jr. and all *shakes head*

I thought there were more deleted scencs...like when Hermione was holding Harry and Ron's hands (i saw it on the HBO behind the scenes thing), and the part where ron says, "i love it when they do that" right before they announced the three champions...oo well, i hope that they will be included...but the official 8 deleted scences seem great anyway!!
