JK Rowlingopens in new window, along with other renowned authors, has donated handwritten work to be auctioned off for the benefit of Book Aid Internationalopens in new window. The organization is responsibile for "putting books into the hands of the world's most disadvantaged readers."

The Harry Potter author has put up for auction a drawn layout of the Black Family Tree, which was first introduced to readers in (the fifth book) Order of the Phoenix, that reveals members of the wizarding community not previously mentioned in the series -- although with familiar surnames. The Daily Telegraphopens in new window has recently released a portion of this drawing and scans of their articleopens in new window are available online, courtesy of TLC.

James' parents where called Charles and Dorea (how do you pronounce that? Dor-e-a? Probably - I think!)! I've been trying to find that forever !

However, she may do better to publish this type of item and donate all that she earns from it to that charity, because I know that there are several people out there who would like to have this and that way more money could be raised.
