No 'Sirius' deal yet, says Oldman's manager

Gary Oldman has not yet been presented with or signed a contract to appear in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, HPANA has confirmed.
Despite a recent statement from the studio, we have learned and double-confirmed that no agreement has been made.
"At this time Gary Oldman is not set to appear in the next Potter film," manager Doug Urbanski told HPANA. "I cannot explain why the studio confirmed his appearance."
It's unlikely Oldman wouldn't reprise his role as Sirius Black in the fifth film.
Note: This does not imply he won't be in the movie, just that there's no current definitive agreement for him to appear.

Gary Oldman has defined the role of Sirius Black. I cannot imagine the movie without him. Then again, I couldn't imagine the movies without Richard Harris and now that I've seen Michael Gambon's portrayal, I still can't see it.

OHH... I bet this is all just a publicity stunt, a way to get Oldman more popular (not something he might do, but I'm sure his manager would). I doubt that Oldman will turn down the offer if it is presented, especially if he had a good time filming PoA (which it seemes he did on the special 2-disc PoA). Why don't they just make the contract and get it over with?!

What was the point in telling us he would be coming back and then saying there has been no deal? If he is coming back, then he needs to decide soon as filming has started already and what is the point in starting movies like harry potter if the same people aren't going to come back for all the others? He's a good actor but I won't be totally disappointed if he's not in the movie. He was mediocre to me. I imagine Sirius of having a young spirit so it would be nice to have someone young and actually have his essence instead of putting some famous guy.
