Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has been added
to the short-list for the WH Smith Book of the Year award in the UK. This is the second time that Ms. Rowling has been nominated for this award, she won in 2004 for Order of the Phoenix.

Voting will be open till March 28th and the awards ceremony will take place in London on March 29th.

Half Blood Prince will so win. That is a fantastic achievement. Once the voting opens, if it does, then I will totally be there to vote. It broke all sorts of book records so it totally deserves to win.

She hase no competition, or maybe I'm just biased. I mean, probably everyone here thinks she has no competition either. I still really hope she wins, but people like to look away from Harry Potter when it comes to awards, unless it's voted for by the public, then Harry Potter wins!
