That's pretty cool that HBP got nominated for an award. I hope HBP wins...although I do like the sound of the book by Jamie Oliver. ^_^

Let's hope JKR wins again! Though I haven't read any of the other books (Sharon Osborne's autobiography?!), I think that HBP certainly deserves it! Good luck!

The trouble with this sort of voted award is that Harry Potter wins too often. I'm sorry everyone, but because we're such an active online community it distorts voting towards HP compared to the overall view of the general public and I don't thin that's very fair. Still, I do think HBP was a good book and I wouldn't begrudge it winning if only it could be done so more fairly.

You deserve it, the books are original and very entertaining.
We need some competiveness here and some ideas for new books since this one is ending soon!

Well, if there's justice in the world, she'll win. I think if she won for OOTP, she should definitely win for HBP! I think it is an outstanding book!

No real surprise here. HBP was such a big seller and I have to imagine that it sold a lot of inventory for them. It will be interesting to see if it wins. I will hope for it.
