We have been getting numerous emails that the release date for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix has been announced as July 13, 2007.
Dark Horizons
and BoxOffice Mojo have both published July 13, 2007 as the release date. Please note that Warner Bros. has made no official announcement, so please treat this as a rumor till confirmed.
Recently Harry Potter producer, David Heyman, said that he didn't know the release date but that it could either be the summer or winter of 2007.
Thanks to everyone who emailed.
Update: It would seem that many entertainment sites, including Rope of Silcon are jumping on the bandwagon and announcing the release date for Order of the Phoenix as July 13, 2007. Again, we are still awaiting confirmation about this and will be sure to let you know once we have found out anything.

I want it to come as soon as possible, but not so they rush it. Id rather have a good movie and wait longer then a rushed movie soon. Wish it would come out this winter so it would be a nice break between GOF movie and Book 7!

But this isn't confirmed either.
I think that - if the book is released in July 2007, as so many of us think - there will not be a movie at the sme time. The November sounds more logic for me. I don't think that book and movie would start the same month. This would be a kind of competition...

I am super excited for Order to be released. Its one of my two fav books. I wonder when we will see Book 7 then...not until 2008? I was hoping Jo would finish for July of 07, but it seems unlikely that the book and movie would be released at the same time. But you never know!
