The door to JK Rowling's "private room" on her official site
is open.
In the past, this has revealed important new information about the next book, so we might learn something about book 7 soon.
From the ongoing discussion (spoiler warning) in HPANA's forums, some people may not be able to get inside (for technological reasons - caching, cookies, etc). Be patient and good luck!
If you really don't want to do it yourself, highlight the area below for the complete solution:
---====Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.
Click on the vase. A rock appears. Drag the rock to the mirror and smash it. A key is revealed. Put the key in the door's lock.
Open the note, and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo".
Click on the door in the mirror (to close it), and the main door opens!
Then there's... a black thing with a gold thing on it. Click and drag the gold thing to point straight up.
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz!
Get a student ID code.... and then?

OK so this is what i got for the door opening so far-
Click on the eraser on her desk. If the flowers in the vase on the left are blooming, and there's not a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door...
Click on the vase. A rock appears to the bottom right of it, barley seen, click and drag the rock to the mirror and smash it by letting go over the mirror, a key is revealed, put the key in the door's lock, ( you can make the mouse trap snap, but it didnt seem to do anything special), open the note and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo" ( which you can not see yourself typing) the mirror is now fixed, click on the open door in the mirror- it closes and the main door opens.
Then there's a graduation cap with a gold tassel on it, click and drag the tassel to point straight up, click on the paper under the hat where the tassel now is, the cap moves and reveals a W.O.M.B.A.T. test, click on it and it's TEST TIME...
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz, finish it in 25 minutes, hit submit and you get a student ID code....
Now we all wait again it appears....
BTW if you exit the test and restart it where it asks if you have a code and you click yes- it gives you a spot to enter it- mine says the identification code has been confirmed. You have already completed this test paper- i'm assuming if we check back in the correct amount of time, it will give us a grade, and hopefully more information.

I have tried to drop it all over the mirror but it does not break it! I tried all the inside and outside of the mirror. What else can I do or am I doing something wrong!?!? Help again he ehe

I already got through all of it now all I have to do is wait until I can use my student number thing to get what ever comes next! It was so exciting trying to get into the room! I just hope we don't have to wait too long befor we get to use the student number. Wasn't that quiz really tough?
