The door to JK Rowling's "private room" on her official site
is open.
In the past, this has revealed important new information about the next book, so we might learn something about book 7 soon.
From the ongoing discussion (spoiler warning) in HPANA's forums, some people may not be able to get inside (for technological reasons - caching, cookies, etc). Be patient and good luck!
If you really don't want to do it yourself, highlight the area below for the complete solution:
---====Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.
Click on the vase. A rock appears. Drag the rock to the mirror and smash it. A key is revealed. Put the key in the door's lock.
Open the note, and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo".
Click on the door in the mirror (to close it), and the main door opens!
Then there's... a black thing with a gold thing on it. Click and drag the gold thing to point straight up.
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz!
Get a student ID code.... and then?

Well it has been am exciting day with this thread and the pther about the door. I have took the test but have no score. I have heard the rumor about what the paper said and discovered it only to be an old headline from last year (there was belief that it might reveal the name of bokk seven.) To all posters who are struggling to open the door, I recommend that you visit the thread to which a link is provided near the top of HPANA, for all of your questions are addressed there. It is quite difficult to address all of the problems you've presented in one comment! ^_^
I'm most anxious to learn for what we will utilize our student identification codes in a few days! Hopefully we will discover some announcement in regards to the seventh and final installment in the series, although I fear that in the end we may just indeed subject ourselves to an apathetic grade based on our performance on the WAMBOT.
Knowing J.K. Rowling, however, she will surprise us all.
