The door to JK Rowling's "private room" on her official site
is open.
In the past, this has revealed important new information about the next book, so we might learn something about book 7 soon.
From the ongoing discussion (spoiler warning) in HPANA's forums, some people may not be able to get inside (for technological reasons - caching, cookies, etc). Be patient and good luck!
If you really don't want to do it yourself, highlight the area below for the complete solution:
---====Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.
Click on the vase. A rock appears. Drag the rock to the mirror and smash it. A key is revealed. Put the key in the door's lock.
Open the note, and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo".
Click on the door in the mirror (to close it), and the main door opens!
Then there's... a black thing with a gold thing on it. Click and drag the gold thing to point straight up.
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz!
Get a student ID code.... and then?

I've already figured out this before I read this article! And I was sooo happy when I saw that the door was opened! This was the first time that I had actually opened the door when it was open and not through the use of the link from the other times! It was soooo great and I was a little disappointed when I saw that it had nothing to do with book 7. I'm really hoping that she opens the door again later this year with something that has some sort of connection to book 7. Has she done this before? Have the door open more than once for one book?

Well I have my code.. and I am waiting.. patiently at first, and now a little more impatiently.. anticipating what we are to be rewarded with, and slightly dreading the thought that there is nothing but the code, which will have to be used for future eggs, or door openings.
But we will see. I'll keep to my hourly vigil off re-opening the door, and checking, hoping that this time the code may just give us something to keep us happily musing for the next few months.

Then you go to the web site and click on the eraser and then the rock should be behind the flowers, THE POTIONS DO NOTHING! DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THEM! After you find the rock put it in the middle of the mirror and let go. the key should be there, put the key in the key hole then where the key was there should be a not, it means typ "reparo" after you close the note. Then you close the door in the mirror and the real door should open, you should see a black square with a gold needle thing on it. Twist the needle up and pull the square away and then you take the W.O.M.B.A.T test.
