The door to JK Rowling's "private room" on her official site
is open.
In the past, this has revealed important new information about the next book, so we might learn something about book 7 soon.
From the ongoing discussion (spoiler warning) in HPANA's forums, some people may not be able to get inside (for technological reasons - caching, cookies, etc). Be patient and good luck!
If you really don't want to do it yourself, highlight the area below for the complete solution:
---====Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.
Click on the vase. A rock appears. Drag the rock to the mirror and smash it. A key is revealed. Put the key in the door's lock.
Open the note, and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo".
Click on the door in the mirror (to close it), and the main door opens!
Then there's... a black thing with a gold thing on it. Click and drag the gold thing to point straight up.
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz!
Get a student ID code.... and then?

I worked out the smashing the mirror thing myself, because i didnt know that there was the cheat way! haha. Then i used the instuctions for the rest. I have completed the wombat test. They re good questions, mostly scenareo related. I hope i have done well i havnt got my results back yet!!! Wish me luck!

The bottles are to get an easter egg, you put six drops of one and three drops of the other into the plant pot so it grows, click and drag them up until the potion comes out.

I broke the mirror, got the key, but when I click on the paper it vanishes! I can't get past that portion.
Look for the rock at the base of the wicker basket - off to the right side. It's barely visible. I found mine just shy of the basket and almost behind the green bottle.

You should click on the key and put it in the lock of the door (nothing extraordinary happens by doing that). Then you click on the note that's inside the mirror. It's a sort of rhyme. When it appears you type "reparo". The mirror will then repare itself. Then you click on the open door in the reflection of the mirror and the real door will open.
I hope that helps a bit!

Well the first theing to do is that you should take the rock which is behind the vase then drag it to the mirror then let go the mirror will breack take the key and put in on the door's lock the click on the note then write doen "Reparo" while the messege is on then look at the mirror you will see the door open close it and the door will open.

The Very Random Girl: Look very closely behind the plant, you should see the rock just peeking out from behind it. Click on it, hold down your click and you should be able to drag the rock over to the mirror. When the rock is over the mirror, THEN let go of your mouse. Mirror should break, and you should be able to follow all the rest of the steps! Good luck- theres plenty of posts to help you the rest of the way.
