The door to JK Rowling's "private room" on her official site
is open.
In the past, this has revealed important new information about the next book, so we might learn something about book 7 soon.
From the ongoing discussion (spoiler warning) in HPANA's forums, some people may not be able to get inside (for technological reasons - caching, cookies, etc). Be patient and good luck!
If you really don't want to do it yourself, highlight the area below for the complete solution:
---====Go to JKRowling.com. Click on the eraser on her desk.
Click on the vase. A rock appears. Drag the rock to the mirror and smash it. A key is revealed. Put the key in the door's lock.
Open the note, and then repair the mirror by typing "reparo".
Click on the door in the mirror (to close it), and the main door opens!
Then there's... a black thing with a gold thing on it. Click and drag the gold thing to point straight up.
Take the W.O.M.B.A.T. quiz!
Get a student ID code.... and then?

To make the plant bloom, you have to do something like 5 drops of the green and 3 of the red... or it might be the other way around. 5 of the red and 3 of the green. I know the answers are on the JKRowling Official site thread as well as one of the other book marked thread.

Thanks for the tips HPANA...Well once you get through the door (by breaking the mirror, reading the note, typing Reparo, and clicking on the door in the mirror, makes the study door open)you go inside and make the gold tassel on the square black hat point directly upwards...has to be pin point straight for it to work...then you can click on the paper to take the W.O.M.B.A.T. test...kinda hard...might help if you have some of the books on hand for quick reference. Such as the Handbook on magical beasts or something, especially since the test is timed! well good luck to all who take the test. If you find you still cant get in even though you click on something...try turning off your pop-up blocker...I had to turn mine off cause it comes up in another window. You will also need to make a note of your student ID # at the end of the test so you can check your results at a later time. Good luck!
