Warner Bros. has now confirmed to us the release dates for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in several countries:
The newest dates give French and German fans an earlier bow for the film than English-speaking countries.

As usual im annoyed with crappy warner bros....WHATS THE REASON BEHIND THESE DATES!?? I always ask this and i never get an answer, i wish theyd give us reasons on why and how they choose who gets to see it and when. I realy dont get why non english countries get it forst though...the films in english realy, is british and so should be shown in the UK first. Or failing that a world wide release. Honestly...*shakes head* I have nothing against wating 2 days, but its the principle that anoys me so much and them not explaining WHY. Well at least its not America getting it first like most things so im happy for the french and germans *laughs*

What is it with making the Australians wait much longer for stuff.
First it was GoF in the cinemas two weeks later than everyone else, then the GoF DVD was a six week wait.
Now we have to wait two monts after OotP is released in US and UK before we get it.
I hate having movies spoiled, so it looks like I won't be visiting HPANA for a couple of months then.
It's really pathetic that we have to wait that long for the movie, its not as if they have to change anything to show it in Australia. I'd be very interested to hear the reason behind the delay... It had better be good!
