Sony Classics picks up 'Driving Lessons' for U.S.

Last month we mentioned Rupert Grint's visit to the U.S. to premiere his newest movie Driving Lessons, at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Now Sony Pictures Classics has picked up
the North American rights to the movie, but no release date has been announced as of yet.

That's great if it means more people will be able to watch it, but Sony Classics... I don't know, to me that seems more like a company who shows classic films, and this one isn't old enough to be a classic. Ah, well, who I am to judge?

The producer, Julia Chasman, has confirmed at Tribeca that it will also be shown in Ireland, UK and Australia.
The latest news also confirms that it also has been picked up by another distributor for showing in Brazil.
