Young Marauders, others cast for 'Phoenix'

James Walters is to be Young Sirius Black, James Utechen will play a Young Remus Lupin and Alec Hopkins will portray Young Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, it was reported
today by CBBC Newsround.
The trio of "Young Marauders" will provide a glimpse into Harry's parent's generation in the film, in which they portray several of the main adult characters while they were still at Hogwarts themselves.
In a major casting change, Helena Bonham Carter will replace Helen McCrory as deatheater Bellatrix Lestrange, as McCrory now expects to be "heavily pregnant" during what would have been her filming. (Carter was last seen as Charlie's mom in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. She also voiced a character in Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit opposite Ralph Fiennes.)
Care of Magical Creatures Professor Grubbly-Plank will be portrayed by 25-year stage veteran Apple Brook. Finally, Jason Piper will play Bane the Centaur.
Pictures of the new trio will be posted as soon as we get them! (They are all relative unknowns, but HPANA has confirmed that Alec Hopkins is the teen in this photo, from a Newbury Theatre production in 2003. Here's a group photo.)

Yay! I'm gladd they're putting the Marauders in the movie. I was a little afraid they would cut that part. I can't wait to see a picture of the group! Helena looks like she'll be a good Bellatrix.

Also, I did like the original choice for Bellatrix but obviously pregnancy is unavoidable and Helena Bonham Carter is a wonderful choice for replacement - this film really seems like it's going to come together nicely with all the new cast members and such!

I really need to check HPANA's news every day. I can't believe I missed this when it was fresh.
I was so disappointed when Helena wasn't cast as Bellatrix. The moment the furor over GoF was over (of course we long knew the Lestranges weren't in it, of course) and everyone was talking about OotP, I was screaming from the rooftops:
If Helena Bonham Carter isn't Bellatrix Lestrange, I'm going to throw a fit.
As it turns out, I didn't throw a fit when Helen McCrory was cast, I was merely deeply disappointed.
But just now, finding this out and fully vindicated, I did pitch a fit.
*pounds on things with excitement* She is gonna be GREAT!
Hey, we all know what this officially means, right?
Professor Lockhart cheated on Professor Trelawney with Bellatrix Lestrange.
Now all we need to do is get Tim Burton to direct one of the movies and we'll officially have the worlds biggest tangled love affair within the confines of a single movie series.

I assume you're reference to "Charlie" wasn't the miniseries "Charles II" - which Helen McCrory was in.
So I hope you're not disappointed anymore. :)
