When last we checked, a slim majority of fans said Harry Potter would die in the last book in JK Rowling's series.
The informal poll, conducted by HPANA, garnered over 45,000 votes and was even cited by The Sun in an article.
With Rowling's recent revelations about upcoming deaths, we decided to ask again: Dead meat, or life so sweet?
Unlike our last poll, however, you only get two choices: Yay or nay.

I vote yes becuase he has to marry Ginny! (who's going to live too.) I'm optimistic about it right now, nut who knows. I don't worry about people writing Harry later because Harry does not equal success. JK Rowling writing Harry does because she knows Harry better than anyone and I don't think anyone else's style of writing will suit him. Even if someone does try to write additional books, it is our choice whether to read them or not. But I can understand JK's point of view when it comes to that--it's not about the success, but about not having someone else steal your idea. Well, we'll see.

I voted no. Partly because I don't want him to die and partly because I just can immagine him dying unless he absolutly had to. Such as him having to die to kill Voldemort. This is a depressing question for me (seeing as how his life went till hogwarts only to die young) and I really hope that he does not die.
