Dan, Emma & 'GoF' nominated for SyFy Genre Awards

The nominations for the SyFy Genre Awards were announced
earlier today and Harry Potter actors Daniel Radcliff has been nominated in the 'Best Actor/Movie' and Emma Watson is nominated in the 'Best Actress/Movie' category.
Both actors have also been nominated in the 'Best Young Actor' categories. The last movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, has been added to the list in the 'Best Movie' category.
Voting will start on July 10 and you will be able to vote once-a-day for 30 days.
The SyFy Genre Awards are from the web site SyFy Portal and combine television and movies based in fantasy and sci-fiction.Thanks to Alana for the tip.

Shame, poor Rupert always seems to be the one left out for some odd reason. I hope he doesn't take it persoanlly. It's just his bad luck that the lead of HP is a male, so he is largely overshadowed by him.

I've noticed HP gets nominated for a lot of online and scifi/fantasy awards but not too many of the big time awards like the Oscars...
They should do well at this SyFy Award thing. There isn't really much competition other than Battlestar Galactica.

Perhaps that's because Rupert plays the part of Ron Weasley, not Harry Potter. ;]

Thats really great! I really think that Dan deserves as many awards as he's nominated for. I know that alot of people really like Emma Watson, but I have never been a big fan of hers. Granted she has improved since the first movie but I still don't think that she is right for the part of Hermione. Anywhoo, good luck to both of you! Hope you win!

I think that Rupert Grint should get more recognition for his part in the movies. Personally, I think he is a great actor just taken as a good one because he's second to Daniel Radcliffe. Congrats to them but Rupert should have been nominated as well.

Once again, Rupert doesn't get anything even though he's the best of the 3!!!!! oh.... that makes me upset, because Dan isn't great at acting and Emma's good but Rupert's Better!!! It's just not fair at all.
