I really hope Rupert Grint plays someone other than Ron in this movie. It's hard to just play the same character with a different name, especially when you have the same actress for a mother (which is pretty awesome).

Yay. I can't believe that Driving Lessons is finally going to be released. I want to see it badly. I hope that it is really good and that everyone who sees it will enjoy it. It's also really close to my b-day, so I can see it with friends!
I hope all the stars have fun at the Film Festival.

I wonder what that means, limited release in the US.

Who does Julie Walters play in the Harry Potter movies? I have no idea who that is. Obviously, Rupert is Ron, but I don't know who this lady is.

Hooray for Julie Walters! (Um. I won't commit to a hooray for Rupert Grint until I see him as something other than Ron. Sorry.)
It's weird how the Edinburgh news is equally excited about Rupert Grint and Sean Connery. I mean, Sean Connery is SEAN. CONNERY. Haha.

To comment on some of the other comments that I've read...
- Rupert in the pics that were shown this week was actually taking Driving Lessons, however, he is also in a film called Driving Lessons.
-Julie Walters (who for the person who didn't know, plays Mrs. Weasley) will NOT be playing his mother in this movie. (Laura Linney plays his mother.) She plays his employer, turned friend/mentor.
- Ben is not like Ron. He's a completely different character and I didn't see a trace of Ron in Ben. Well, except for the fact that they are both funny, adorable, and endearing (to me at least.) However, unlike Ron, Ben comic elements are more subdued and covert. He reminds me just a tad bit of Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off; somewhat uptight, but not nearly as neurotic (except when he's convinced he's going to get in trouble with his mother.)
- No, he didn't seem out of place. More like a breath of fresh air, because I got excited about little things like seeing him outside on a normal street (minus the bluescreens, etc.)
- I can't speak for everyone, but I really just saw the character of Ben. I don't wish to keep Rupert, Dan, or Emma in a box. I want to give them an opportunity to stretch out and not automatically keep them boxed in by (without having seen them in other stuff,....which for Rupert I have) refusing to at least try to see them as anything other than their HP characters.
- I have to say that the other characters in this movie have small parts, but are very interesting. There's one character who more than a bit O-F-F. So, yeah this (at least I feel) is very enjoyable, and I really liked the soundtrack...:)
