This morning many Harry Potter fans woke to reports that Warner Bros. had announced a release date of November 21, 2008 for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
You may remember that in March David Heyman mentioned that Half-Blood Prince was set for 2008.
Numerous sites are reporting the release date:
posted a list of movie release dates, pointing out that Warner Bros. had Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix and Ocean's Thirteen as its two major summer releases for 2007. The sixth movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, will be released on November 21st.Please note that no information about the movie, director or actors has been announced. We will update with any news we receive from Warner Bros. in reference to this date. Thanks to everyone who emailed.

Well, I hope this is true because that would mean that we have an HP movie two years in a row, and would mean the wait for movie 7 would be shorter, and we might be able to keep the trio in for all movies =D

Oh my god... that's so cool! 2008... it's two years! My dream is to see all the actors doing all the movies and I think it would be possible (with Emma Watson she's gonna be 18 in 2008... and Hermione is having 17 in the begining of HBP).

Wow, I'm surprised we got a release date this early!!! Because of that I guess I wouldn't be surprised if it got changed sometime before then. That would be great; my birthday's a couple weeks before that date so I could ask for passes to movie theaters for my birthday!!! Awesome, I'll probably see it so much that I'd need passes so I wouldn't go broke!!!

Yay, just in time for my birthday! I'll be 18 too! It's good to see that they're keeping the 1 1/2 year filming schedule. That means the last movie should be coming out about May or June of 2010.
