In a recently conducted interview on the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix at Leavesden Studios, Daniel Radcliffe discusses the ending of the series and the sixth movie, Half-Blood Prince. He also talks about his next role on London's West End in Equus and his accent in his recently completed movie December Boys.
Dan on the end of the series and if he's spoken with JKR about it:
I've had talks with her but, not about that. I don't know anything that's going to happen in the seventh film. I hope it will be very, very good I'll go with whatever.
I think it will be quite exciting really. It may be the only way (the arch villain) Voldemort could be killed is if Harry dies as well because there is that very strong connection between them.
Dan on if he will participate in the Half-Blood Prince movie:
I don't know. But the sixth book is fantastic and if the script is good and does it justice, then it would be foolish to turn it down.
Dan speaking about his West End debut in Equus next year and appearing naked on stage:
All the other actors who have ever played the part have done that, so for me not to do it wouldn't really be playing the part. It would be a watered down version. It wouldn't be the same.
I'll be incredibly nervous, but I think 'It's in the script; it's got to be done.' I'm terrified, but excited.
Dan mentions at the end of the interview that everyone will have to wait to hear his Australian accent in December Boys when the movie is released and that he enjoyed working in a different country with a new crew.

This is SOOOO great reading about future projects. Now I really want to hear his australian accent. I bet it is going to either be GREAT or funny. I am not sure which. As far as his play is concerened I am going to feel bad about him playing someone more dispicable then voldermort but I guess Dan could be doing it so he dosnt get typcasted, which actually makes alot of sense. I look forward to hearing about more future projects for everyone involved with harry potter. (The minor as well as the major charectors).

I really hope he does half blood prince, i think it would be a shame to change the main character now, and he plays it so well.

I hope he doesn't turn down the reamaining movies.It was a lucky escape when unfortunately Richard Harris(portraying Dumbledore) died and Sir Micheal Gambon looks exactly like him.But it will be difficult to replace Dan.

The last two movies would def. go down in ratings if they lose Dan, or anyone else (major roles) in the cast. It just wouldn't be the same. Now if there is a death like with the first Dumbledor (R.I.P.) than, that is different. And now not saying that I don't like the "new" Dumbledor b/c I do. But he just seems more like a Merlin to me overall.
And as for Dan naked...woohooo. He's got guts to do that.

But as for Equus... well, let's just say that this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see him nude ;) and that the theatre holding this particular play better get tight security on guard for screaming fan girls!

Well, he's certainly brave... and definitely committed to his career L.O.L. I will watch it... I don't care what I have to do, I will get there somehow, with tickets. It's not even that far away and so there is NO way I'm going to let this opportunity pass. I really really REALLY hope he does decided to do HBP; I could never get used to another Harry! :-/
