To follow-up on our last
news post on the release dates for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Warner Bros. has now revealed that the movie, (Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix) will be released in Spain on July 20th, a week after the U.S. and UK releases.
Fans in Australia will be delighted to know that the release date for the movie has been moved up to July 12th, instead of September 6th, as previously reported.
Thanks to Harry Latino and TLC for the new dates.

Yay! I'm in Australia and I'm glad they are releasing it early. Having to sit and wait a whole two more months would have been absolute torture. plus the fact that illegal copies would have flooded the planet by then anyway.
We get it earlier than the US only because movies here start their runs on Thursday nights. No idea why, its just always been like that as far back as I can remember.
Can't wait. Hmm, so I'm wondering now, what does this mean for the Book Release? I hope they still put the book 7 out on 07/07/07, and then with the movie out the week after, that will be absolute brilliance!!!!

Exactly Spirit Fire *grins*. We are always the forgotten fans, it's nice to be able to say we are going to get the movie a bit before The US and UK. This will be the first time in the HP movie history that we will receive the movie around the same time as everyone else, which really you'd think is sensible considering we don't need any subtitles etc as we are also an English speaking country.
Again I say YaY for finally being recognised and recieving OotP on the 12th of July instead of the 6th of September!!!
