Harry Potter 5 filming near completion

HPANA had the great honor of visiting the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix today in the UK.
A teaser of our report will be published along with the teaser trailer for the film later this year, and a full report will follow in 2007.
It was day 103 of about 150 days of shooting, and the movie is shaping up to be another blockbuster success. We toured the set, interviewed the stars and saw several scenes being filmed. Unfortunately we can't offer any specifics right now, but the wait will definitely be worth it. (We did independently verify, however, that there will be no Quidditch in the film, to Rupert Grint's chagrin. He's looking forward to other scenes, though.)
In attendance today were representatives from (left to right) Sci-Fi Channel
, IGN, Veritaserum, HPANA, ComingSoon.net and DanRadcliffe.co.uk.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will be released July 13, 2007. It's directed this time around by David Yates, with music by Nicholas Hooper.

Well, they're over 2/3 of the way finished with filming. I wish the movie would come out sooner than next summer, but the post-filming work will take a lot of time as well.

I'm so glad they're almost finished filming!!!! I hope the post filming work won't take soooo long.
I'll miss the quidditch in this movie...... specialy cause it's Ron's great moment.......
O well... They didn't put in that Harry won the quidditch cup in PoA either......

No Quidditch! Yet another reminder of the neglect the Harry Potter films have had to face since after Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. If only they would make their movies longer than two hours they might turn out a wee bit more detailed.
I can't believe that they would cut Quidditch! It doesn't take that long out of the film, honestly, and it's something that I'm sure people like to see.

Is it good? You've got to tell us. I'm dying to know what it looks like and what direction Yates is taking it. If there's no quidditch they had better find another way for Fred and Harry to beat up Malfoy because that was one of my favourite bits!

Bit bummed out that there won't be any Quidditch though.. there seems to be less and less every year.. Also heard in an interview that Hermione throws Ron up against a wall with a spell for making a sexist comment.. very Anti-R/Hr.. :D
