Earlier today we mentioned
that the premiere of Driving Lessons would happen this evening in London. In attendance were Harry Potter stars Emma Watson and Bonnie Wright, who gave their support to Rupert Grint and Julie Walters.

Also, Akiko attended the premiere and has added some of her pictures to her blog. Thanks to Paul for letting us know that an inteview with Julie and Rupert from London Tonight has appeared on YouTube and you can view it here.
Thanks to TLC for letting us know that both Rupert and Julie were interviewed at the premiere and discussed Driving Lessons and Harry Potter.

Rupert's premiere outfits always look really simular. Casual on the bottom with a tee and a blazer. If he has a stylist, they should spice things up everyone in a while.

I think it's sad they only invited the girls. I know Dan wouldn't be able to go anyway, he is busy filming everyday, but Tom, Matt, Chris, Jamie... it's sad they didn't invite any boy so Rupert could have all the attention, it shows little confidence. Anyway Emma and Bonnie get most of the attention so...

I nderstand that Bonnie and Emma are there because they are supporting Rupert, but you know they are going to steal the crowd for atleast SOME of the fans. They just might be attention grabbers. You never know.

That is so great that they come out to support each other in their endeavors. I have always wondered if they were really friends off set as well and now it seems that is the case.
I am sure that agents/managers probably like the exposure but they really seem to like each other and want each other to do well.

Veri_Lara and Ainhoa, the twins were there. At the premiere. For whatever reason though, their photos were not taken. But they were there at the premiere. A fan report proved that. Why there were no pictures I can't explain... unless they went by very quickly. Truthfully, only Wire Image got pictures of Jeremy Brock (the director!) and one other cast member while the other big photo agencies didn't.
Also it was no "publicity stunt" because Emma said Rupert had invited her.
From what I understand, Dan is not a premiere type. But I do find it sad that he didn't go. As well as Matt not going. But it could've been anything. Filming, couldn't make it, etc. But I doubt it was in any way because they were male.
