That is so awesome! I'm sure Harry Potter is very likely to win. But Justin Timberlake as the host? That's going to be funny actually.

I don't know if I really like the idea of Justin Timberlake hosting this. He's not exactly a role model, he's very pro-drug use. He's got songs all about marijuana... why don't we just have Eminem do it and call it a day.

I've read all of them except the Island of Blue Dolphins....at least based on what I've read, I'd definitely vote for Harry Potter. Might have to check that other one out, tho - I love HP but I'm always on the lookout for a good book to read with my kids.

Harry is SOOOO much better than any of those other movies. I wonder who will be there to accept the award since Dan is busy doing his play?

Oh how exciting, while the other books are wonderful and deserving, the Harry Potter series leaves them in the dust.
I look forward to seeing Harry Potter and Jo win this category.

Interesting, since there wasn't a new book in the HP series last year! Of course, none of the others in this category are new either, except the Lemony Snicket series finale, THE END, so....weird category. I'm not a kid so I can't vote, anyway, but I'd certainly take HP over any of the others, anytime!

I've heard of all of those except "How to Eat Fried Worms". Interesting. But anyway, out of the ones I've read, call me biased, but I still like HP best. The best of luck to HP :D

Congrats Jo!! I definitely think they're going to win. Some of the other books are good, sure. I think that HP probably has the biggest fandom out of all of those though.

I agree with witch pirate, if the Harry Potter series doesn't win i'll be seriously offended. I mean, How to Eat Fried Worms[/u, [u]Island of the Blue Dolphins, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events (series) don't have any thing on the Harry Potter series. (Would you say anything else on a Harry Potter fansite?)

HAHA...
I totally thought the announcement read:
The show will air live from Los Angeles on Saturday, March 31st, UNFORTUNATELY with host Justin Timberlake.
I saw the "Series of Unfortunate Events" above that...transposed...not good.

Well, Island of the Blue Dolphins is a good book as well, but honestly I LOVE Harry Potter, and that is the book I will choose. They are all good books really. But Harry beats them all!

Island of the Blue Dolphins?! It's a very good book, but it might be boring and gruesome for a lot of young readers. But I think we can all guess which books will win...

Didn't it make that list last year? No, that was a different award, and it was for GoF. Well, "How to Eat Fried Worms" is really stupid, and the other two are OK, but HP will be the clear winner. At least that's what I predict.
