Earlier today Harry Potter stars Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths, who are currently starring in Peter Shaffer's play Equus on the London's West End, took part in a photocall at the Gielgud Theatre.

From Geri's review i know that i jumped to conclusions about the nudity scene, and maybe i should have researched the play before i said something. :( OOOPS!!! Anyway it sounds good, but i am not sure i like the whole smoking thing...

Smoking....a total turn off. I know that he did it for the sake of the role, but me and smoking dont go! EWW! Hopefully he didnt like it and doesnt make it something usual

I know it's for the role and all, but I do find the pictures of Dan smoking disturbing. More disturbing than the semi-naked photos we've seen (which is equally for the role, of course.) I get the smoking, but I don't want to see it.

I have to admit, I'm impressed, and that's not anything I though I'd ever say in reference to Daniel Radcliffe and acting, but he seems to really be stretching himself and his talents as an actor. I am actually tempted to see this play, mostly because it sounds interesting, and because it has Richard Griffiths in it, who's a real pro.

Wow, Richard Griffiths looks so much different than when he portrays Uncle Vernon. That play sounds amazing! I'm a theatre major, and I can tell that this was well done. Of course I'd have to see the play myself to know for sure. I wish I could see it! It sounds different than any other play I've seen, and I'm just itching to see it! If only I was in England! It'd be really interesting to see Dan in a completely different role. I think this role is good for him because his character sounds moody, and while I always thought he was a great actor, I thought one thing he needed to work on was expanding his emotional range. I'm so glad it's going well for all of those actors in Equus!
